This pancake mix and recipe from our friends at Ethos Stone Mill features Palouse Heritage English Redhead™ and White Sonora
Ingredients
(For about 8 pancakes)
1 cup + 2 Tbsp Pancake Mix
1 large egg
1 cup milk (buttermilk works beautifully)
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Directions
Mix wet ingredients: Lightly beat the egg, milk, and vanilla together in a bowl.
Add dry mix: Stir in the Palouse Heritage Pancake Mix just until combined. Small lumps are fine — don’t overmix.
Cook: Heat a butter-greased skillet over medium heat. Pour batter to desired size and cook until the bottom is golden brown and bubbles form on top.
Flip and finish: Turn and cook the second side until golden.
Serve warm with butter, syrup, or local honey.
