Ethos Stone Mill Heritage Pancakes

Best with: Ethos Stone Mill’s Heritage Pancake Flour Mix

This pancake mix and recipe from our friends at Ethos Stone Mill features Palouse Heritage English Redhead™ and White Sonora

Ingredients

(For about 8 pancakes)

  • 1 cup + 2 Tbsp Pancake Mix

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 cup milk (buttermilk works beautifully)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Directions

  1. Mix wet ingredients: Lightly beat the egg, milk, and vanilla together in a bowl.

  2. Add dry mix: Stir in the Palouse Heritage Pancake Mix just until combined. Small lumps are fine — don’t overmix.

  3. Cook: Heat a butter-greased skillet over medium heat. Pour batter to desired size and cook until the bottom is golden brown and bubbles form on top.

  4. Flip and finish: Turn and cook the second side until golden.

  5. Serve warm with butter, syrup, or local honey.

Flavor Notes

Nutty, buttery, and lightly spiced with nutmeg — a whole-grain pancake that tastes as rich as it is wholesome.
