The World's Best Rye Bread

World's Best Rye Bread

  • 1 7/8 cups water
  • 3 cups Palouse Heritage Turkey Red flour*
  • 2 cups Palouse Heritage Rosen Rye flour
  • 4 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 Tbsp dark brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp dry milk
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 3 Tbsp vital wheat gluten
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp active dry yeast
  • 2 oz unsalted sunflower seeds
